The Brooklyn Boulevard from Katie Reilly, a women’s clothing boutique, will be opened this spring at Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach.
Reilly grew up in Sea Girt, New Jersey, went to West Chester University and spent the past three years in Nashville, where she had started the business.
“I had a mobile boutique. I did pop-ups all over the city and have a good luck,” said the 26-year-old. “I worked my whole life in retail and it was always something that I am really passionate about.”
Reilly’s conclusion is in social media marketing, which has proven to be an essential part of her business plan. She has over 39,000 followers on Instagram and over 8,000 on Tiktok.
“I think storytelling is one of the most important things you can do to build your brand,” she said. “I don’t have the means to buy an advertising table … but what can go on Tiktok and promote my business in a playful way.”

Reilly always wanted her own shop front. When her friend’s job brought her to Rehoboth Beach, she bought the Blue 149 Rehoboth Ave. Building that was the last home of the Pelican Loft.
Brooklyn Boulevard offers “timeless” women’s clothing with “pieces” that should serve in their wardrobe forever, “said Reilly. The clothing prices are usually between 80 and 150 US dollars.
“It is a store at the mid-luxury in which you can get this luxury experience, but do not have to pay hundreds of dollars for designer pieces,” she said.
